Something on the funny-side!

[Story]
Envisioned here is a world where technology copies aspects of nature in order to function.

The environment is full of representations -- the trees are bundles of red wires, discarded bolts and nails look like mushrooms, and (barely visible) bamboos in the back are wire twisties. (This can almost be the 'lowest level' of a gigantic computer.)

The blue fly depicted has several jobs -- Nicknamed 'Super Flies' --Groups of them are required to be in specific areas at all times. They clean, manipulate, repair, and do the nitty gritty that human hands can't always reach. They have very high processing power and are constantly linked to one another, giving them the ability to form a basic social hierarchy and communication network.

The big yellow guy has only one job -- seek out slow, defective Super Flies and destroy them. He's on the ground most of the time and doesn't need the ultra-high CPU. He merely needs to know that if he can reach a fly, it must be terminated. He has basic communication modules and is required to check into a hub once a day for repairs and cleaning.

It’s a world that, for the most part, functions on its own. Human intervention is rare.

[Thoughts]
I like playing with contrasts, bigger and slower versus small and fast. If this humors you, I've done my part!
